ARRIVAL
Parents and sons will arrive in Tulum on the afternoon of Friday, April 26th and be driven to a private beachfront villa.
FRIDAY: Welcome Dinner
A welcome dinner will be held at a nearby site. The first theme of the retreat is: goal setting. What are your goals in life? What are your goals for your relationship? And what are your personal goals for the retreat?
Markus will share various goal setting and goal achievement techniques in addition to helping each family prepare to have the most impactful weekend possible.
SATURDAY: Explore the world, explore yourself
The morning will be spent engaging in some form of stimulating, fun (and invigorating, should you want to be challenged) physical exercise, such as running, swimming, weight training, yoga, or personalized custom exercises, followed by a healthy breakfast.
The theme of the morning will be: If you want to go far, you're better off when you're strong and nourished. Markus will share personal strategies and experiences on how to become a world champion through consistency and preparation.
After a healthy lunch, the areas around the beachfront villa will be explored. It's a natural sanctuary of jungles and caves, full of challenges and surprises. Markus will work with the metaphors of comfort zones and fears and their relation to each other.
The evening will be spent around a bonfire, reflecting on personal journeys and relationships.
SUNDAY: Take a risk or sleep in
Sunday morning will be about recovering for those who need to (some of the parents may want to relax and sleep in). For those who are up to it, a grand challenge awaits. This will be a powerful, fear inducing and potentially life changing exercise where young men will be brought to the very edge of their physical and mental abilities. It's only for those who feel like they want to go and explore what happens beyond what they think is possible.
